Safeguarding in school partnerships.
Programme delivery should operate within the school’s safeguarding framework and agreed responsibilities.
School policy comes first
Delivery teams should follow the host school's safeguarding, visitor, supervision, photography, device-use and incident-reporting policies. Responsibilities must be agreed before delivery begins.
Safe learning environments
Age-appropriate equipment guidance, room setup, supervision and safe handling expectations form part of implementation planning. Any tools or activities requiring additional controls must be identified in advance.
People and reporting
Facilitator screening, conduct expectations and reporting routes should comply with applicable law and the school's requirements. Concerns must be reported promptly through the named school contact and agreed escalation process.
Before programme launch
The school and Ordell Malaysia should document supervision, authorised adults, collection arrangements, media consent, emergency contacts and equipment risks for the agreed delivery model.
Programme-specific safeguarding and screening documentation should be confirmed with the school before any student delivery.
